Phoebe Walton

Design, Fictions, Art, Research, Film, Writing

I am a designer, working between Critical Design, Architecture, Art and Research. I have a background in Architecture, having completed a BA (RIBA part 1) at the University of Cambridge (2017) and an MA (RIBA part 2) at the Royal College of Art (2021), where I was taught in Architectural Design Studio 4 (ADS4). Using architectural tools, I interrogate urgent, systemic social and environmental issues, including those relating to technology, the Climate Crisis and the law. Through popular narratives, performance and film, my work seeks to widen public engagement with complex issues, to collectively and boldly imagine a more equitable present and future(s). Currently, I am a researcher at Forensis (sister company to Forensic Architecture), in Berlin.
